by its elements, in partnership with some of the worlds finest cigar rollers,

Our "Classic" Cigar

Christopher Columbus was the first to see the potential of this island but so
did various English pioneers who planted the first tobacco crops in 1622. It
is this tobacco growing legacy that lives on through the TREASURER cigar, which
is produced by us, the Chancellor Tobacco Company of England.
The company's leaf specialists, with their history of tobacco experience, seek
out the finest tobaccos, recognizing that a high quality cigar deserves nothing
but the best. By selectively inspecting local farms our leaf buyer and master
blender set out to acquire only the top quality leaf, thus ensuring that each
cigar becomes a mark of taste and grandeur.
Our "Gift" Cigar Box
Our selected tobacco farmers strive to produce the best tobaccos money can buy.
With much care and nurturing of plants, from seed planting to the moment the
last cured leaf hangs in the barn, their aspirations are achieved through careful
attention, resulting in some of the world's finest tobacco. Once the leaves
reach their final state of curing they are transported to our factory in the
Cibao Valley, the centre of the Dominican Republic's cigar industry, where under
the watchful eye of our master blender, the tobacco will start its final stages
towards reaching perfection.
It is the natural fermentation process of the leaf which ultimately gives the
tobacco its character and taste. During this fermentation stage our chosen leaves
are carefully inspected on a daily basis to ensure that they reach their peak
temperature. After a period of no less than 3 months the magical transition
occurs where the leaves shed their young green colour and
turn to a mature deep brown.
As the tobacco reaches its final stage of fermentation our master Torcedor,
along with his team of selected Torcedors from the Tamboril region, wait patiently
to give "life" and form to our TREASURER cigar. Their years of rolling
experience and sense of Art, result in the creation of the finest cigars, which
are laid down to rest in climatically controlled conditions for further ageing.
Our "Executive" Cigar
Box
Sparing no expense in our mission to deliver only the best, we
feel our Treasurer cigar deserves the ultimate in presentation. This is achieved
by packing each expensively banded selection of fine cigars in a classic handcrafted
cigar box. To exemplify the stylish image only the finest solid exhibition-grade
burl walnut, lined with Spanish cedar is considered appropriate for use in our
boxes of five and ten. The Executive box of five is banded with aluminium whilst
the Aged box of ten comes with sterling silver inlay, both incorporating our
grandiose Treasurer cigar tube, in their own unique way. Both boxes provide
the additional luxury of a humidor and are accompanied by a stylish blue flame
cigar lighter and cigar punch. Even our bulk box of twenty five cigars is handcrafted
from walnut and lined with cedar.
Our pursuit of excellence, starting from the farmer through to the Torcedors,
